About the Role

The company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to develop and support scalable web applications, APIs, and integrations. The role requires strong software engineering skills, experience with web application architecture, and the ability to write maintainable, testable code.

This is a fully remote position with a base salary of $120,000 to $180,000 per year. The ideal candidate will have experience with .NET technologies, C#, JavaScript, databases, source control, and cloud platforms, along with an understanding of software design principles and development best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using .NET technologies and other relevant frameworks.
• Build and support scalable APIs and integrations.
• Apply SOLID design principles and established design patterns when developing software.
• Write unit tests and produce code that is maintainable and testable.
• Use source code control tools and established version control practices.
• Contribute to web application architecture, development, and operational support.
• Work with databases and data persistence technologies to support application requirements.
• Develop or support front-end functionality using JavaScript and relevant front-end technologies.
• Work with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or other comparable services.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, and C#, or experience with alternative technologies such as PHP, MySQL, Laravel, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, or Ember.
• Proficiency in JavaScript.
• Understanding of SOLID design principles.
• Experience writing unit tests and developing testable code.
• Proficiency with source code control tools and techniques.
• Professional experience developing highly scalable APIs and integrations.
• Strong understanding of web application architecture and operations.
• Experience working with SQL, document databases, or other data persistence tools.
• Familiarity with software design patterns.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with React.js or another front-end development ecosystem is preferred.

Location and Work Arrangement

• This is a 100% remote position.

Salary & Benefits

The position offers a base salary of $120,000 to $180,000 per year, along with health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
