Qualifications
- Approximately 3+ years of experience building production web applications using React and TypeScript
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS, with a strong focus on responsive design for mobile and desktop platforms
- Experience working with APIs, including REST and GraphQL
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools integrated into the development process
- Interest in AI tooling and a desire to contribute to its enhancement
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Build and own the consumer-facing web application using React, TypeScript, and Next.js, ensuring a seamless user experience
- Leverage AI tooling to accelerate development and contribute to ongoing improvements
- Validate assumptions through rigorous testing and outcome-based evaluation of features
- Translate complex financial data into clear, trustworthy interfaces that users can easily understand
- Collaborate closely with design and product teams from initial concept through deployment
- Take ownership of features from development to release, monitor user engagement, and iterate for continuous improvement
- Maintain high standards in code quality, conduct thorough code reviews, and implement effective testing strategies
- Identify and resolve bugs at their root, ensuring a reliable and robust platform
- Weeks 1-2: Complete onboarding, set up development environment, and ship a small change to production to familiarize with workflows
- Month 1: Take ownership of a specific feature, from design handoff to deployment, and understand the product deeply
- By 90 days: Become the primary point of contact for a significant portion of the consumer app, contributing to its ongoing development and refinement
