About The Role

The role is for a full-stack engineer who owns features end-to-end — from React frontends through TypeScript/Node APIs to PostgreSQL schemas — for products used by hundreds of thousands of people daily.

You will work within a small, senior product squad alongside a designer, product manager, and platform engineers, with real autonomy over architecture decisions and direct ownership of what ships to users.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build user-facing features across the full stack: React and TypeScript on the frontend, Node.js (or Go) services on the backend, PostgreSQL for data modeling
• Own API design and implementation — REST and GraphQL endpoints — with a focus on performance, type safety, and clean contracts between services
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines on GitHub Actions, deploying to cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) with Docker and Kubernetes
• Instrument features with observability tooling (Datadog or equivalent), own dashboards and alerts for the services you build
• Lead technical design reviews and drive architectural decisions for multi-week initiatives, including writing design docs
• Improve test coverage and reliability: unit, integration, and end-to-end testing with tools like Jest, Playwright, or Cypress
• Mentor mid-level engineers through code review, pairing, and direct technical guidance
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years building production full-stack applications
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills and hands-on experience with a modern frontend framework (React, Vue, or similar)
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Node.js, Go, Python, or Java) and building scalable REST/GraphQL APIs
• Solid SQL skills and experience designing schemas and writing performant queries against PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Experience with cloud deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure), containers, and CI/CD workflows
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
