Software Engineer (Backend-Leaning) | NYC

We're partnering with a well-funded, early-stage AI startup that's building a product in one of the fastest-growing areas of AI. They're looking for a backend-leaning Software Engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to make a real impact from day one. This is an opportunity to join a very small team, work directly with leadership, and own major parts of the product.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and ship core product features
• Own projects from concept through production
• Work closely with founders and customers to solve complex technical problems
• Help shape the product and engineering roadmap in a high-ownership environment
  
  

Requirements

• 2-5 years of software engineering experience
• Strong experience with TypeScript and React
• Backend-leaning engineer with strong computer science fundamentals
• Previous startup experience is a plus
• Comfortable working in a small, high-performing team with a high degree of ownership
• Able to work 6 days per week (Sunday is a half day)
• Must be willing to work onsite in NYC
  
  

Compensation

• Base salary: $150,000-$200,000
• Equity included
