We are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of both our in-house products and client projects.
This is an early-career position for someone who already has practical experience developing web applications and is comfortable working across both frontend and backend. We are looking for a hands-on developer with strong problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn and the motivation to grow alongside the company.
Job Description
As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will work closely with our team and contribute directly to the delivery of both client projects and in-house products.
Your role will be focused on building reliable software solutions, developing web applications and integrating different systems, equipment and data sources.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications across both frontend and backend.
- Implement new features for Augmented Labs’ products and client projects.
- Build intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Develop APIs, database models and integrations with external systems.
- Implement communication with equipment and platforms using protocols such as MQTT.
- Support the integration of software with industrial and robotic systems.
- Improve the performance, reliability, security and usability of applications.
- Write tests, investigate bugs and document technical solutions.
- Participate in the planning, development and validation of new solutions.
- Work closely with the engineering team, partners and clients.
Qualifications
- Approximately 1–3 years of experience in software development, or equivalent practical project experience.
- Experience developing web applications.
- Experience in frontend development using a framework such as React, Vue or Angular.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Experience with at least one backend technology, such as Node.js, Python, C#/.NET or equivalent.
- Experience developing and consuming APIs.
- Knowledge of relational or non-relational databases.
- Experience or familiarity with communication protocols such as MQTT.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to take a feature from initial requirement to working implementation.
- Good written and spoken English.
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics, Mechatronics or a related field is valued.
Nice to have
As you will be part of multiple projects the following skills are also valued:
- Experience with web-based 3D technologies such as Three.js, Babylon.js or WebGL.
- Interest or previous contact with robotics.
- Interest or experience in industrial automation.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA or similar.
- Experience with CAD modelling or the use of 3D models in software applications.
- Interest or experience in integrating artificial intelligence features.
- Previous experience working in a startup or small engineering team.
Experience in all these areas is not required. We value strong software development foundations, curiosity and the ability to learn and adapt to different projects.
