About The Role

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer with a strong frontend focus to join our dynamic team. This role involves approximately 80% UI development and 20% backend support, primarily working with our Rust-based backend systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building complex, stateful web applications using TypeScript and modern declarative frameworks like Svelte, React, Vue, or Solid. You will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces that allow security engineers to perform rapid queries across petabyte-scale logs, ensuring real-time responsiveness and an intuitive user experience. Collaboration with backend engineers to troubleshoot, optimize, and extend our Rust services is also a key component of this role. The position offers the opportunity to work on challenging problems involving streaming data, virtualized rendering, and high-performance UI design in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in building complex, stateful web applications using TypeScript
• Strong experience with modern declarative frontend frameworks such as Svelte, React, Vue, or Solid
• Fluency in HTML and CSS
• Experience with frontend performance optimization, including rendering large data sets and profiling
• Product and design sensibility with a focus on user experience
• Understanding of backend concepts such as databases, networking, and request handling
• Willingness to learn and read Rust code, with the ability to make small backend modifications
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, low-process environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote or hybrid team setting

• Implement streaming partial results and virtualized rendering techniques to handle large datasets efficiently
• Collaborate with backend engineers to troubleshoot and optimize Rust-based services

• Translate product requirements into functional, intuitive interfaces
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
