Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Software Developer. The Software Developer will design, implement, and maintain back-end services and application features, writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Day-to-day tasks include building and optimizing APIs, integrating with
databases and third-party services, participating in code reviews, and troubleshooting production issues. The Software Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, contribute to technical design discussions, implement best practices for
testing and
security, and support continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming, with proficiency in at least one modern language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar).
- Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and server-side frameworks.
- Practical understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to debug, test, and optimize code, including writing unit and integration tests.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
