About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Software Engineer, Front End, to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of complex, impactful software solutions that influence our product outcomes and overall technical direction. As a key leader within our engineering team, you will provide technical guidance, establish best practices, and mentor talented front-end engineers within an

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Deep understanding of React and React Router frameworks
- Experience with component libraries and front-end architecture
- Expertise in JavaScript testing libraries such as Vitest and Playwright
- Knowledge of accessibility principles and front-end performance optimization
- Experience with Deno and modern development tools
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git and Bitbucket
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as TeamCity, Docker
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools including Jira, Confluence, Visual Studio Code, Chrome DevTools
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities
Responsibilities
- Guide and set the technical vision for the front-end team, ensuring alignment with product objectives
- Lead design, development, and deployment of modern front-end solutions from conception through launch
- Drive technical design discussions, contributing to scalable and robust system architecture
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies, facilitating successful sprint planning and delivery
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define requirements and provide technical insights
- Establish, enforce, and promote best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns
- Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain quality, consistency, and knowledge sharing across the team
- Mentor and develop front-end engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment
- Address complex technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement innovative solutions
- Identify and mitigate technical risks to ensure timely delivery of features
- Champion documentation standards to enhance team efficiency and maintainability
- Stay current with emerging technology trends and proactively recommend improvements to processes and technology stacks
