Software Engineer – Sydney – $120,000–$140,000 + Super

The role

• Backend engineering across TypeScript and Node.js in production
• Raw SQL on PostgreSQL - joins, aggregations, query optimisation
• Work confidently within AWS environments - Lambda, ECS and similar
• Build and ship features end to end with real ownership
• Work closely with senior and lead engineers to deliver high quality solutions

The person

• Strong TypeScript and Node.js application code in production
• Solid PostgreSQL and raw SQL capability
• 3 to 6 years genuine backend engineering experience
• Comfortable in AWS - you don't need to own the infrastructure but you know your way around it
• Not a frontend developer with a fullstack title - real backend depth matters here
