About the Role

We’re looking for a Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our engineering team. You’ll be responsible for building and improving web applications, developing new features, and working with AI-related technologies where relevant.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web services using Ruby on Rails
• Build and integrate REST APIs and third-party services
• Work with relational databases and optimize queries
• Develop and integrate AI-powered features into web applications
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Troubleshoot bugs and production issues
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to deliver features

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining web services using Ruby on Rails
• Strong knowledge of Ruby, Rails, REST APIs, and relational databases
• Experience with Git and automated testing
• Experience or interest in working with AI technologies / AI-powered applications
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with an international team

Nice to Have

• Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, or AI APIs
• Experience integrating AI features into web applications
• Experience with React/Vue.js
• Experience with AWS, Docker, or CI/CD
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, or similar technologies
