## About the Role

Veeva Systems is seeking Front-end Software Engineers to build and maintain user interfaces for cloud-based applications using modern JavaScript frameworks. You’ll work in a dynamic engineering environment, collaborating closely with backend engineers, designers, and QA teams to solve complex customer problems and deliver production-ready software through rapid development cycles.

This role is suited to a team-oriented engineer who is comfortable working across the software development lifecycle, learning quickly, contributing to architecture improvements, and helping teammates grow through mentorship.

## Key Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain user interfaces for Veeva’s cloud-based applications.

* Build modern cloud-based applications and platforms using JavaScript frameworks.

* Solve customer problems and experiment with new product and technical ideas.

* Decompose existing software systems and contribute to improvements in overall architecture.

* Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and QA engineers.

* Help ensure accurate and comprehensive testing coverage.

* Contribute to troubleshooting and technical support of products.

* Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

* Contribute to technical discussions and help improve engineering practices.

* Mentor teammates and contribute to improving team capabilities.

## Required Qualifications

* 5+ years of UI development experience.

* Strong proficiency in JavaScript.

* Experience with ES6.

* Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.

* Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.

* Proficiency with CSS abstraction layers such as SASS or JSS.

* Familiarity with open-source Java stack development, including Java, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, JUnit, and Tomcat.

* Proven ability to mentor engineers and contribute to team development.

* Unrestricted right to work in the United States.

## Compensation & Benefits

* Base salary: $110,000–$270,000 USD

* Position may also be eligible for variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
