About Clerion

Clerion is a first-principles rebuild of the web analytics category. Instead of dashboards full of charts you have to interpret yourself, Clerion reads your site's data and tells you - in plain English - exactly what's broken and where. Intelligence is the interface. Data is just what powers it underneath.

We've just launched, built for solo founders and SME operators who don't have a data analyst on staff. You'd be joining right after launch, working directly with the founder on a live product used by real customers - which means your decisions have immediate, visible impact.

What you'll work on

Depending on your background and interests, you could be doing any combination of:

  • Taking a feature from idea to shipped in days, not sprints - there's no backlog process standing between an idea and production
  • Working directly with the founder on what gets built next and why
  • Building and hardening the systems that turn raw site data into plain-English insight as real traffic comes in
  • Improving performance, reliability, and code quality as the codebase grows past early-stage scrappiness

This isn't a role where you're handed fully-specced tickets. You'll often be the one deciding how something should work, not just how it should be built.

About you
  • Fluent in one or more of your core languages, with real production experience - even if it was small or nobody saw it
  • You care about whether something actually works end to end, not just whether your part compiles
  • You notice what's broken and fix it, rather than waiting to be told
  • Comfortable with ambiguity - early-stage product work means priorities shift as we learn from real usage

Bonus if any of this is true:

  • Experience building data pipelines, APIs, or working with LLMs in production
  • You've actually used Clerion at getclerion.com and have opinions on it

Why join Clerion

Code you write ships fast - often the same week. There's no management layer translating requirements between you and the person who actually decides what gets built. You'll have real ownership of what you work on from day one, working on a product that's live and already in customers' hands.

Location

Remote. We care about the work, not the hours.

Interview process
  1. A short review of your written answers
  2. A technical conversation directly with the founder
