Senior Full Stack Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team as a

technical leader and architect. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining

modern web applications across both frontend and backend environments. You will own end-to-end

features, drive technical decisions, mentor junior developers, and contribute to scalable solutions that deliver real value to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, production-grade web applications.
• Own end-to-end feature development from concept through deployment and optimization.
• Build robust solutions across frontend and backend with minimal oversight.
• Design, model, and optimize complex relational database structures.
• Translate business requirements and wireframes into technically sound solutions.
• Lead integration of third-party services (payment providers, authentication platforms, etc.).
• Conduct thorough code reviews, set technical standards, and elevate team code quality.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering their technical growth.
• Collaborate strategically with Product, UX/UI, and QA teams to deliver user-focused solutions.
• Evaluate and propose new technologies and architectural improvements.
• Take ownership of performance, scalability, and system reliability.

Technical Skills

Frontend

• Expert proficiency in TypeScript.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Vue.js and React in production environments.
• Strong expertise with Nuxt.js and/or Next.js frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of Tailwind CSS and CSS architecture.
• Mastery of performance optimization, accessibility best practices (WCAG), and UX principles.
• Experience with state management, routing, and complex frontend architecture.

Backend

• Expert proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Extensive production experience with Node.js and/or Bun.
• Strong expertise with ElysiaJS or similar modern backend frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL and MySQL, including advanced query optimization.
• Production expertise with Drizzle ORM and complex query patterns.
• Ability to design, normalize, and optimize relational database schemas at scale.
• Proficiency with database modeling tools (Lucidchart, draw.io, or equivalents).
• Extensive experience integrating payment providers (Stripe, Apple Pay, Moneris, QuickBooks).
• Strong Docker expertise and containerization best practices.
• Advanced knowledge of authentication platforms, particularly Ory Kratos.
• Comfort with Claude Code and AI-assisted development workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Full Stack development experience.
• Proven track record building and maintaining complex, high-traffic production web applications.
• Deep understanding of software architecture patterns and SOLID principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to architect solutions for complex challenges.
• Excellence in clean code practices and attention to detail.
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work autonomously on large projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and elevate junior developers.

Nice to Have

• Extensive experience in SaaS environments.

• Track record with startup or high-growth company scaling challenges.

• Deep knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, and modern web architectures.

• Experience with system design, scalability, and distributed systems.

• Open source contributions or recognized work in the tech community.

• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
