We are building VertoX, an AI-powered real-time voice translation platform that translates speech while preserving the user's original voice, tone, and emotions. The company is incorporated in the USA (Delaware), and we are preparing for a live launch. We need a strong Senior Frontend Engineer to join the core team, take full ownership of our Web/Desktop apps, and grow with us long-term.

This is a founding team role, not a temporary contract.

You will work directly with:

  • Founder, AI/ML Engineer, and Senior Backend Developer.

What you will do:

  • Architect and build production-grade Web (React / Next.js) and Desktop (Electron or Tauri) apps.
  • Implement latency-sensitive, real-time features: live audio, translation UI, and WebSockets/streaming data.
  • Optimize performance for low-latency interactions across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Collaborate closely with Backend & AI/ML engineers on core product UX.

What we're looking for:

  • 7+ years of professional frontend experience with deep knowledge of TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
  • Strong production experience with real-time applications (WebSockets, async data flows, state management like Zustand/Redux).
  • Experience building and deploying desktop apps (Electron or Tauri).
  • Solid understanding of auth systems (JWT, OAuth) and clean architectural patterns.
  • Big plus: Experience with WebRTC, audio streaming, or AI products.

What we offer:

  • Equity: 1% (become a part-owner of VertoX; salary discussed post-funding).
  • High ownership, zero bureaucracy, and a direct impact on a global AI product.

Commitment: This is an early-stage startup. We expect dedication, high responsibility, and long-term involvement. If you are not ready to fully commit, please do not apply.
