Role Description

The Senior Ecommerce Developer is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust B2B ecommerce solutions for wholesale and manufacturing clients. This role involves building and optimizing ecommerce platforms, integrating them with ERP systems such as Dynamics 365 Business Central, and ensuring responsive, secure, and performant web experiences. Day-to-day tasks include implementing front-end and back-end features, collaborating with consultants and project teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, and troubleshooting issues across ecommerce and web applications. The Senior Ecommerce Developer will review code, guide best practices, and contribute to architectural decisions that support scalability and reliability. This role also includes continuous improvement of existing implementations, documentation of technical work, and participation in client-facing discussions to clarify requirements and propose solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in E-Commerce and B2B commerce platforms, with a strong understanding of checkout flows, catalog management, and integrations.
• Proficiency in Responsive Web Design and Front-End Development, including modern HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks, and cross-browser optimization.
• Strong background in Software Development and Web Development, with experience in building scalable, secure, and maintainable applications.
• Hands-on experience integrating ecommerce solutions with ERP systems (preferably Dynamics 365 Business Central) and related APIs.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, performance optimization, and debugging complex production issues.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Several years of senior-level development experience in ecommerce or B2B platforms; experience with wholesale or manufacturing clients is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
