Role Description As a Junior Software Engineer at 811 Films, you will support the development and maintenance of internal tools and applications that streamline production workflows and media management. You will write clean, testable code, debug and fix software issues, and contribute to back-end services and APIs that integrate with the company’s content platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, participating in code reviews, documenting features and processes, and learning new technologies relevant to the media and entertainment space. This is a full-time remote role, offering flexibility while requiring reliable communication, ownership of assigned tasks, and the ability to work effectively within distributed teams.


Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development principles.
  • Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
  • Experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development, including APIs and server-side logic.
