Role Description The Full Stack Software Engineer – Billing Tea will work part time in a remote capacity, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of billing-related web applications and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing front-end user interfaces, building and optimizing back-end APIs and services, and integrating billing logic with existing hospital systems. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to clarify requirements, troubleshoot issues, and improve the performance and reliability of billing workflows. The engineer will review code, participate in technical discussions, write documentation, and ensure that solutions follow security, compliance, and quality standards. The position requires proactive communication and the ability to manage tasks independently in a distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills, with experience spanning both client and server-side applications.
• Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills, including building APIs, managing data persistence, and integrating external services for billing or financial processes.
• Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills, including proficiency in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and modern web UI frameworks to create accessible and responsive interfaces.
• Candidates should possess skills in debugging, testing, and code review, with an emphasis on code quality, maintainability, and performance optimization.
• Relevant experience with common web technologies (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, relational or NoSQL databases) and version control systems such as Git is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, clear written and verbal communication, and the capacity to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams are required.
• Experience in healthcare, billing, financial systems, or other regulated environments, as well as familiarity with security and data privacy best practices, is an advantage.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
