Our client is on a mission to accelerate language development for K-12 language learners, allowing them to dream big and realize their greatest potential. Their core product is the first of its kind and provides educators with a formative practice and productive language assessment tool that demystifies language development by providing constructive feedback to students and informing teacher practice.

Role And Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Lead Software Architect to define and implement a scalable, secure, and reliable architecture.
• Contribute to the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives by providing technical insights and proposing solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
• Work closely with the Lead Software Architect on the transition of crucial platform components (database, performance, system monitoring) to the internal team.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of these components to ensure smooth operation and identify areas for improvement.
• Participate in performance optimization initiatives and implement solutions to enhance platform stability and scalability.
• Maintain clear communication channels with fellow developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical requirements and project progress.
• Actively participate in technical discussions and provide valuable insights to contribute to informed decision-making.
• Effectively document technical solutions and design decisions for future reference and knowledge-sharing within the team.
  
  

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Full-stack software engineering.
• 5+ years of enterprise-level React.js and Go experience.
• Proven experience in delivering enterprise-level value.
• Expertise in cloud-based architectures and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of database design, performance optimization, and system monitoring.
• Champion of automated testing in a CI/CD environment.
• Strong understanding of security best practices.
• Passion for education and technology's role in transforming lives.
• Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work collaboratively and lead cross-functional teams.
• Must be able to work in US time zone.
• AWS certification is a plus.
