About the Opportunity

We are looking for Software Development Engineers to support the development, integration, and optimization of IoT management platforms, SaaS/PaaS systems, remote monitoring applications, device connectivity solutions, and data visualization systems.

This is a remote, part-time, and project-based collaboration opportunity. It is not a fixed full-time position.

Engineers will be selected from our professional network based on the technical requirements of each project. Before a project begins, the scope, responsibilities, deliverables, timeline, and compensation will be confirmed.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain IoT management platforms, web applications, and SaaS/PaaS systems.
• Build backend services, frontend modules, APIs, and microservices.
• Integrate sensors, gateways, controllers, smart meters, and other field devices.
• Develop functions for device management, data collection, remote monitoring, alarms, reports, dashboards, users, and permissions.
• Support requirements analysis, interface confirmation, testing, deployment, and system optimization.
• Improve system stability, security, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, product teams, and international technical partners.
• Support IoT projects in smart buildings, energy, industry, agriculture, security, environmental monitoring, and digital infrastructure.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in software development.
• Experience in backend, frontend, or full-stack development.
• Experience with IoT platforms, SaaS/PaaS systems, APIs, microservices, databases, cloud applications, or remote monitoring systems.
• Experience with one or more of the following technologies:
• Java, Python, Node.js, Go, PHP, or similar backend technologies
• React, Vue, Angular, or similar frontend frameworks
• RESTful APIs, WebSocket, MQTT, HTTP, TCP/IP, or related communication protocols
• MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or similar databases
• Docker, Kubernetes, cloud deployment, containers, or distributed systems
• Good understanding of user authentication, authorization, access control, and data security.
• Strong problem-solving, technical communication, and requirements analysis skills.
• Ability to work remotely and collaborate with international teams.
• Good English communication skills are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IoT device management platforms.
• Experience integrating gateways, sensors, meters, controllers, or edge devices.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture, organization management, user roles, and permissions.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, cloud deployment, and production system maintenance.
• Experience in smart buildings, industrial IoT, energy, agriculture, security, or environmental monitoring.
• Experience developing B2B software products or supporting international projects.

Collaboration Model

This role is based on remote, part-time, and project-based collaboration.

SolutionMall will match suitable engineers with projects according to actual development requirements. Engineers may participate in:

• Testing, deployment, and system optimization
• Local customer project implementation or technical support when required

The project scope, deliverables, schedule, working arrangement, and responsibilities will be confirmed before the project starts.

• Technical requirements
• Engineer experience and expertise
• Expected deliverables
• Project duration
• Level of responsibility
• Quality of delivery
