Full Stack Software Engineer

The Role

We’re looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer who can design, build, and ship across the stack.

You’ll help build and improve the Partnership Mastermind platform, including member-facing experiences, internal tools, operator workflows, admin surfaces, integrations, and AI-assisted product features.

You won’t just be writing code. You’ll help shape how we build, deploy, maintain, and improve software in a fast-moving product environment.

This role is a strong fit for someone who likes turning ambiguous product direction into working software. We are not looking for someone who only wants perfectly written tickets. We need someone who can clarify requirements, make smart technical tradeoffs, ship usable features, and communicate clearly when something needs a better decision.

You’ll work closely with engineering leadership, product stakeholders, and the founder to turn product priorities into high-quality software. You’ll be expected to use AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Devin, or similar tools to accelerate development, reduce repetitive work, prototype faster, and improve your own output.

We care less about which AI tools you use and more about whether you know how to use them responsibly.

This is a high-ownership role with direct visibility into product direction and customer impact. You’ll contribute to technical decisions, improve core systems, and see your work ship regularly.

Our Engineering Culture

  • Quality first: We build stable, reliable systems. Speed matters, but not at the cost of user trust.
  • Bias to action: We prefer small, shippable increments over big-bang releases.
  • AI as a teammate: Engineers use AI tools daily for coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and prototyping.
  • Simplicity over cleverness: We prefer solutions that are easy to understand, extend, debug, and maintain.
  • Strong ownership: Engineers are expected to think through the product, not just complete tickets.
  • Clear communication: Prioritize, execute, communicate, repeat.
  • Low ego, high standards: We want builders who are pragmatic, collaborative, and serious about shipping good work.

What You’ll Do

  • Build full-stack features using React, Node.js/Express, and PostgreSQL.
  • Develop and maintain reliable frontend and backend systems.
  • Build user-facing product experiences for partnership professionals and teams.
  • Build internal tools, admin workflows, and operational systems that help the team move faster.
  • Help improve architecture, performance, stability, and developer workflows.
  • Set up and refine CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Work with AWS-based infrastructure and deployment environments.
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs where needed.
  • Use AI tools for coding, testing, debugging, prototyping, and documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, customer-facing teams, and leadership.
  • Turn product requirements into clean, maintainable, production-ready software.
  • Balance speed, quality, and simplicity in a fast-moving environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Solid experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Express.
  • Strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database design.
  • Familiarity with AWS, especially Beanstalk, ECS, or similar deployment environments.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous, early-stage environments.
  • Ability to break down messy product direction into practical engineering steps.
  • Strong debugging instincts and willingness to improve inherited systems.
  • Curiosity and real experience using AI tools to build software faster and smarter.
  • Pragmatic, team-oriented mindset.
  • Clear written communication and strong ownership.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building SaaS products, internal tools, marketplaces, communities, workflow software, or B2B platforms.
  • Experience with learning platforms, membership products, certification systems, or community products.
  • Experience with authentication, permissions, admin dashboards, analytics, payments, or CRM-style workflows.
  • Experience integrating AI into user-facing products or internal workflows.
  • Experience working with lean teams where engineers are expected to contribute product thinking.
