Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Web Developer role based in Nyahururu. The Web Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications and websites, ensuring they are responsive, accessible, and aligned with business requirements. Daily tasks include implementing front-end user interfaces, building and optimizing back-end services, integrating APIs, and managing databases. The role involves collaborating with designers, product stakeholders, and other developers to translate specifications into functional solutions, as well as troubleshooting issues, improving performance, and keeping documentation up to date. The Web Developer will also stay current with best practices in security, usability, and web technologies to continuously enhance the company’s digital products.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Front-End Development and Web Design to build responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development and Programming to create secure, efficient server-side logic and integrations.
• Candidates should possess Web Development skills to manage end-to-end application lifecycle, including deployment and maintenance.
• Candidates should have experience with modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one relevant framework or library.
• Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Candidates should have strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to debug and optimize code.
• Candidates should be able to work on-site in Nyahururu, collaborate effectively in a team, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• A relevant diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
• Experience with responsive design, cross-browser testing, and basic security best practices is beneficial.
• Knowledge of databases, API development, and deployment on common hosting or cloud platforms is an added advantage.
