Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-focused QA Engineer / Software Tester to ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of software products. This role is responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, validating requirements, and supporting the delivery of high-quality applications across web, mobile, and backend systems.

The successful candidate will work closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle. You will review requirements, create test cases, execute manual and/or automated tests, and document results to ensure that software meets business and technical expectations.

Key responsibilities include performing functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing. You will identify, report, and track bugs, verify fixes, and ensure issues are resolved effectively. The role also involves maintaining test documentation, supporting release cycles, and contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes.

You will also assist in improving software quality by identifying edge cases, evaluating system behavior, and ensuring consistency across different environments and platforms. Depending on experience, you may also contribute to test automation efforts, scripting, and CI/CD testing workflows.

Additional responsibilities may include participating in requirement analysis, reviewing product specifications, supporting performance testing, maintaining test data, and collaborating with teams to improve software stability and user experience.

The ideal candidate is analytical, structured, and passionate about software quality. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and clear communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and QA processes.

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.

  • Basic understanding of APIs, databases, and system behavior.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools or scripting languages is an advantage.
