Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a React Native/React Developer. The person in this role will design, develop, and maintain mobile and web applications using React Native and React, ensuring clean, reusable, and testable code. Daily responsibilities include implementing UI components, integrating APIs, debugging issues, writing unit tests, and optimizing performance across different devices and browsers. The developer will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to refine requirements, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical documentation. The role also involves staying current with front-end and mobile development best practices, identifying improvements in existing codebases, and supporting deployment and maintenance processes.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in React and React Native for building modern web and mobile applications.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, ES6+ features, and front-end development fundamentals.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API, MobX) and component-based architectures.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating back-end services into front-end applications.
• Understanding of mobile-specific concepts such as navigation, platform differences (iOS/Android), and performance optimization.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, including unit and integration tests.
• Comfort working in remote, agile environments, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles and responsive design for consistent user experiences across devices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with deployment and build tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, app stores, bundlers) is a plus.
• Prior experience in product-based or SaaS environments is beneficial.
