2. About the Opportunity:

The Software Engineer role on the Fitness team focuses on developing and improving the mobile application that helps users engage with their fitness goals. The position involves delivering high-quality features for iOS and Android platforms and contributing to the technical strategy that enables seamless user experiences. This role plays a vital part in helping users start and manage their fitness activities through the application.

3. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on a cross-functional team to deliver mobile features supporting fitness goals.

• Develop and maintain native mobile codebases for iOS and Android, including Kotlin Multiplatform solutions.

• Build and deliver end-to-end microservices using event streaming platforms like Kafka and SQL databases.

• Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical discussions.

• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation plans.

• Work with engineers and product managers to scope and plan projects.

• Participate in the interview process.

4. Requirements:

• 2-5 years of software development experience.

• Proficiency in one or more mobile development technologies such as Swift, Android, React Native, or Kotlin Multiplatform.

• Experience with best practices including automated testing, monitoring, continuous integration, and code reviews.

• Experience troubleshooting production issues.

• Strong motivation to complete tasks and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Base salary ranges from $86,500 to $135,000, determined by role, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and location.
