Role Description This full-time remote Software Engineer / Developer role at TRABAJO EN REMOTO involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions and back-end
web applications. The engineer will write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, implement and optimize APIs, and integrate
data storage solutions. Daily tasks include reviewing requirements, participating in technical design discussions, performing code reviews, debugging issues, and improving system performance and reliability. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, following secure development practices, contributing to continuous integration and deployment pipelines, and staying current with best practices in software engineering.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software architecture concepts.
- Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar).
- Candidates should possess experience in Back-End Web Development, including building and consuming APIs, working with databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Candidates should possess solid Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills and familiarity with design patterns and reusable code practices.
- Candidates should possess experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently in a remote environment.
