About the Opportunity:

The SOFTWARE DEVELOPER role is essential for designing, developing, testing, deploying, training, and maintaining the Revenue Management System (RMS). This position contributes to the effectiveness and security of the organization's systems by creating interactive web-based applications and supporting their operation.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop interactive web-based applications using modern technology stacks.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and implement software code for existing and new systems.
• Analyze business requirements and recommend innovative, cost-effective solutions.
• Develop back-end components for various web applications.
• Acquire new programming languages and software skills as needed.
• Collaborate with clients, project leads, and subject matter experts to meet project milestones.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years experience in software development and web-based technologies.
• Proficient in C# and ASP.NET with backend MS SQL Server database.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular and React.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, SASS/LESS, Material Design, and Bootstrap.
• Familiarity with DevOps-CI/CD, containerization (Docker), unit testing, cloud deployment (AWS, Azure), Kubernetes, and microservice architecture.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and unit testing.
• Database design skills with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
• Agile development experience (Scrum and/or Kanban).
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Active DHS Public Trust clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Exposure to Kubernetes and AWS EKS is a plus.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Virginia Pay Range $110,000—$120,000 USD
