Are you a builder who thrives on autonomy, curiosity, and driving projects from ideation to deployment? GLOBO is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to collaborate directly with our CTO organization to develop, scale, and evolve our product suite and underlying platform. We're looking for an engineer who can independently own outcomes, push for novel approaches, leverage modern tools (like agentic coding), and raise the bar for our entire development team.

• Build & Scale: Develop new product capabilities and improve existing ones across our product suite and platform.
• Own the Lifecycle: Carry projects end-to-end from initial ideation to deployment and scaling.
• Optimize: Monitor, diagnose, and resolve performance issues and bugs to ensure a seamless experience for internal and external customers.
• Leverage Next-Gen Tech: Use agentic coding tools to accelerate development, freeing up time to focus on high-leverage architectural challenges.
• Mentor & Elevate: Perform code reviews, mentor fellow team members, and positively influence their career development and developer experience.

Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience with:

• 💎 Ruby / Ruby on Rails
• 🐘 PostgreSQL
• ☁️ AWS
• 📜 JavaScript

The Ideal Profile:

• 3+ years of experience developing online, scaled software.
• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong communication skills—clear, effective, and collaborative.
• A proven track record of owning projects independently from start to finish.

Bonus Points if you have experience with:

• Redis or Twilio
• Mobile development (Objective-C/Swift or Android/Java)
