About the Role

LAHZO is seeking a Full Stack Staff Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable applications across the full technology stack. You will work with TypeScript, SQL, MongoDB, and Redis to build high-performance, data-driven systems, including backend services, database solutions, and responsive frontend interfaces.

This role offers the opportunity to influence technical direction, establish engineering best practices, and mentor other developers. Working closely with founders, product managers, designers, and engineers, you will help shape the product and contribute to the company's growth as an AI-driven startup.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable systems across the full technology stack.
• Develop server-side logic, database structures, and responsive frontend interfaces.
• Architect high-performance applications using TypeScript, SQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Apply software design patterns and sound system architecture principles.
• Design and develop reliable, maintainable APIs.
• Use cloud platforms and containerization technologies to support application development and deployment.
• Mentor developers and promote code quality, maintainability, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop effective and innovative product experiences.
• Promote automated testing and reliable software development practices.
• Contribute to technical strategy, team direction, and continuous improvement.
• Work alongside company founders to influence product decisions and broader company direction.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience in full-stack development.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, API design, and system architecture.
• Experience with TypeScript and data technologies such as SQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform, such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies.
• Strong leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to mentor junior developers.
• Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code and implementing automated testing.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, and engineering teams.

Location and Work Arrangement

LAHZO offers a flexible, remote-first work culture.

Salary & Benefits

• Base salary: $160,000–$210,000.
