Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- Proven experience leading the delivery of complex software solutions in an agile environment
- 1+ years of experience mentoring and coaching senior and junior developers
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as .NET and C#
- Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies
- Deep understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and system scalability
- Knowledge of API and microservice design patterns, including REST, GraphQL, gRPC, and related security practices
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and related DevOps practices
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Provide strong technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, setting clear technical vision and ensuring alignment with product objectives
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex software solutions, taking ownership from conception through to launch
- Participate actively in team ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and continuous process improvements
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define requirements, author user stories, and ensure seamless integration of solutions
- Establish and enforce best practices in coding standards, architectural patterns, and agile methodologies to maintain high quality and scalability
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment
- Address complex technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and develop innovative solutions
- Drive technical design discussions, contributing to system architecture and ensuring robustness and scalability
- Conduct thorough code reviews, promote knowledge sharing, and ensure adherence to quality standards
