The Role
The Role
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug mission-critical software source code.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle within Agile methodologies, utilizing tools like Jira, Confluence, and Git.
- Support the creation and updating of all relevant design, development, and testing documentation.
- Identify and proactively resolve potential roadblocks to development.
- Plan and estimate development tasks, contributing to performance metric improvements.
- Develop maintainable code that meets specifications and passes automated tests via continuous integration.
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ years of experience. Additional experience may substitute for a degree.
- US Citizen with an active Secret clearance or higher.
- Hands-on experience with Java/C++ and object-oriented programming.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript and JS frameworks such as React.
- Ability to apply software development process fundamentals and work independently.
- A strong, self-motivated desire to learn new technologies, and ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplined engineering team.
