Role Description

The Full Stack Engineer will work on-site in Tracy, CA in a full-time capacity, building and maintaining web applications that support Sky Transport Solutions’ internal teams and customers. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, and testing front-end and back-end features, integrating systems that manage permits, registrations, and compliance workflows, and optimizing application performance and security. The role involves collaborating with operations and compliance staff to understand business processes, translating requirements into scalable technical solutions, and maintaining clear documentation. The engineer will also troubleshoot production issues, implement improvements based on user feedback, and contribute to code reviews and best practices across the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve frontend and backend features
• Develop and integrate APIs
• Work with SQL and other databases
• Fix bugs and troubleshoot application issues
• Participate in code reviews and testing
• Use Git and follow development best practices
• Support deployments and CI/CD processes
• Work with the team to deliver projects on time

Requirements

• 0–2 years of software development experience
• Knowledge of frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Knowledge of backend technologies such as .NET, Node.js, Python, or Java
• Basic understanding of SQL databases
• Familiarity with Git and REST APIs
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of work
• Must be able to work in-office in Tracy, California

Pay Range

• $17–$20 per hour

-College projects, hackathon projects, personal applications, and open-source contributions are welcome.

-Degree, coursework, bootcamp training, or equivalent hands-on experience in software development is welcome.
