About The Role

The role builds and owns full-stack features end-to-end — from React frontends and mobile clients down to backend APIs, data models, and deployment pipelines. This is a product-facing engineering position where shipping speed and code quality matter equally.

You will join a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and product managers working on core user-facing services, and your work will be visible to customers within weeks, not quarters.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship user-facing features across the full stack — React/TypeScript frontends, Node.js or Python backend services, and REST/GraphQL APIs
• Own backend services end-to-end: schema design in PostgreSQL, API contracts, caching layers (Redis), and async job processing
• Build and maintain mobile experiences (React Native or native iOS/Android) alongside the web platform, sharing logic and design patterns where possible
• Write automated tests at unit, integration, and end-to-end levels; maintain CI/CD pipelines and contribute to fast, safe deploys
• Instrument features with observability tooling — logging, metrics, and tracing — and participate in on-call rotations for services the team owns
• Contribute to architecture decisions in design reviews and RFCs, weighing tradeoffs around scalability, maintainability, and time-to-market
• Mentor mid-level engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance as the team scales
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 3–6 years of full-stack software engineering experience, including building and operating production services
• Strong proficiency in at least one typed frontend framework (React, Vue) and one backend language (TypeScript/Node, Python, Go, or Java)
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), schema design, and query optimization
• Experience deploying and operating services on AWS, GCP, or Azure using Docker and CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar)
• Track record of shipping complete features across frontend and backend with minimal supervision
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Bonus: React Native or mobile development experience; GraphQL API design; experience scaling systems serving high traffic; open-source contributions
