What you’ll own
Product & AI engineering

Build across the stack.

Design, develop and ship reliable front-end experiences, back-end services, APIs and data flows that work as one connected product.

Turn AI into useful product capability.

Build and improve LLM-powered features that solve real guest, employee and operational problems for hospitality teams.

Deliver with AWS Bedrock.

Design secure, observable and maintainable AI workflows using appropriate foundation models, retrieval patterns, guardrails and evaluation methods.

Work from customer problems.

Collaborate with Product and Customer Delivery to translate hospitality workflows into clear technical solutions and measurable product improvements.

Platform & delivery

Own production outcomes.

Take work from technical discovery and architecture through implementation, testing, release, monitoring and continuous improvement.

Design for trust and scale.

Protect customer data, manage performance and cost, and build resilient services for a growing multi-customer platform.

Raise engineering quality.

Strengthen code review, automated testing, documentation, deployment practices and pragmatic technical standards.

Help shape the platform.

Make sound architectural decisions, reduce unnecessary complexity and mentor colleagues through thoughtful technical leadership.

Your first 90 days
01–30: Learn & map

Complete product, platform and hospitality onboarding. Understand the current architecture, development workflow, AI services, customer priorities and the technical context for your first area of ownership.

31–60: Build & improve

Ship meaningful production work across the stack. Contribute to an AI or LLM-powered capability, strengthen tests and observability, and propose practical improvements to the engineering workflow.

61–90: Own & lead

Take clear ownership of a product or platform area. Deliver an end-to-end improvement, document the technical approach and help establish repeatable engineering practices for future development.

How success will be measured

Success will be measured through the quality, reliability and commercial usefulness of what you help the team deliver, including:

  • Consistent delivery of well-designed, tested and maintainable production software, with reliable full-stack ownership from user experience through services, integrations and data.
  • Useful AI capabilities supported by clear evaluation, monitoring, security and cost awareness.
  • Platform performance, resilience, observability and reduction of avoidable technical risk.
  • Strong collaboration with Product, Engineering and Customer Delivery, with practical improvements to code quality, documentation, development velocity, release confidence and positive technical leadership.
What you’ll bring

  • Regular use of AI-assisted development tools within the everyday engineering workflow.
  • The organisational skills, ownership and maturity to create structure within a fast-moving environment.
  • Native-level or fully professional English, with clear communication across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Hospitality technology, including PMS, CRS, CRM, guest engagement, booking or revenue management platforms, with knowledge of Oracle OPERA or OPERA Cloud particularly relevant.
  • Establishing or scaling an engineering team or technical function while remaining hands-on.
  • Advanced AI implementation involving multiple models, retrieval and knowledge systems, agentic workflows, evaluation or monitoring.
  • Multi-tenant SaaS products involving communications, workflow automation, analytics or payments.
