This is a role for a

cutional range to bring ideas to life at a high level. Someone who

campaign

senior leadership just as
confidently as they
can translate it into a finished asset, and who is equally at home on lo

ctions alongside photographers, stylists, filmmakers, models, and athletes.
Your Responsibilities
- Brand Creative & Identity
- Own and evolve Stio's visual identity across brand guidelines, logo systems, typography, color, and design standards
- Develop and maintain brand creative systems that ensure consistency across all channels while leaving room for freshness and evolution
- Bring a strong point of view to every project â knowing how to make work that feels distinctly Stio, not just on-trend
- Campaign Concepting
- Lead creative concepting for seasonal campaigns and product launches in partnership with the Associate Creative Director
- Translate brand strategy and seasonal briefs into compelling visual concepts â from mood boards and visual frameworks through final class="bg-amber-100">execution
- Pitch creative ideas to senior leadership with confidence, clarity, and a compelling narrative
- Balance brand-building ambition with commercial effectiveness and channel realities
- Packaging & Collateral
- Art direct and class="bg-amber-100">execute packaging design across product categories, ensuring consistency with brand identity
- Develop brand collateral, hang tags, labels, and print materials that reflect Stio's quality standards and aesthetic
- New Stores & Events
- Partner with retail and class="bg-amber-100">marketing teams to develop creative for new Mountain Studio store openings, in-store environments, and brand events
- Bring cohesive visual storytelling to physical brand moments â from signage and fixtures to event graphics and experiential touch points

- Develop storyboards and visual treatments for class="bg-amber-100">video and motion creative in support of campaign concepts
- Collaborate with production partners and internal stakeholders to bring class="bg-amber-100">video creative to life on-brand and on-brief
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Brand class="bg-amber-100">Marketing, Digital, E-commerce, Product, and Retail teams to ensure creative consistency across all channels
- Contribute to creative briefs, reviews, and feedback processes â elevating work through clear direction and high craft standards
- Mentor and provide creative direction to internal designers and senior designers
- Manage and direct freelancers, external designers, and creative partners as needed
Your Skills And Experience
- 7+ years of experience in art direction or graphic design, with a portfolio spanning brand campaigns, identity, and digital creative
- Experience at a consumer brand in outdoor, apparel, activewear, lifestyle, or adjacent categories
- Strong visual instincts and a clear, differentiated point of view. You know the difference between work that's good and work that's great
- Experience art directing lifestyle photo and class="bg-amber-100">video productions on-location leading shoots alongside photographers, stylists, filmmakers, models, and athletes making clear, confident creative decisions in a fast-moving environment
- Proven ability to concept and lead campaigns from brief through final delivery
- Confident and compelling when presenting creative to senior stakeholders. You can tell the story of your work
- Sharp sense for copy and messaging; you understand how words and visuals work together
- Experienced in storyboarding and developing visual treatments for class="bg-amber-100">video and motion content
- Deep understanding of typography, layout, photography, design systems, and brand expression across print and digital
- Demonstrated ability to provide direction and constructive feedback to designers at varying skill levels, with a collaborative mentorship style
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma; comfortable with evolving AI creative tools
- Highly organized, self-directed, and energized by building creative in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
- Authentically connected to mountain lifestyle, outdoor culture, and the values that drive the Stio brand

We provide
competitive
compensation pa

centives and benefits. The base salary range for this role is $85,000-$100,000. It would not be typi
cal for someone to be hired at the top end of the range for the role, as a
ctual pay will be determined based on several fa
ctors in
cluding experien
ce, skills, and qualifi
cations.
