About The Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to help design, develop, test, and maintain software products and services. In this role, you will work with engineers, product managers, designers, quality assurance professionals, and other stakeholders to turn requirements into dependable software. You will contribute throughout the development lifecycle, from understanding user and business needs to releasing, monitoring, and improving solutions.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Candidates should have experience developing software in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar technologies. Familiarity with web services, APIs, databases, version control, and common software development practices is expected.

You should understand fundamental concepts such as data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software testing. Experience working with cloud platforms, automated deployment tools, container technologies, or agile teams is an advantage. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to explain technical concepts to different audiences are important. Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain software features that meet product requirements and quality standards. Write readable, efficient, and well-tested code, and participate in code reviews to support consistency, security, and maintainability. Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to clarify requirements, estimate work, identify dependencies, and plan releases.

Investigate defects and performance issues, determine their causes, and implement appropriate fixes. Create and maintain technical documentation, including design notes and usage guidance. Contribute to testing strategies and use automated tests where appropriate. Support deployment and production activities by monitoring software behavior, responding to issues, and recommending improvements. Identify opportunities to simplify systems, strengthen reliability, and improve the development process. Communicate progress, risks, and blockers promptly, and take part in team discussions, planning sessions, and ongoing learning activities.
