About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team at Wellvana. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining scalable web applications and software solutions that support our healthcare technology platform. You will work across both front-end and back-end technologies, collaborating closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your contributions will directly influence the performance, security, and usability of our applications, ensuring they meet the needs of healthcare providers and patients alike.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience. Candidates must have professional experience developing web applications, with proficiency in both front-end and back-end development. Strong knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, along with back-end technologies like Node.js, Python, Java, C#, PHP, or Ruby, is essential. Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases, understanding REST APIs and web services, and familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript are required. Additionally, candidates should have experience with version control systems like Git and a good grasp of the software development lifecycle. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities are also important.

Preferred qualifications include 2+ years of full-stack development experience, familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and experience with containerization tools like Docker. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, microservices architecture, and application security practices will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications that meet user needs and business requirements.
• Build intuitive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using modern web technologies.
• Develop reliable, scalable back-end services, APIs, and application logic to support front-end functionalities.
• Design, implement, and maintain databases and data models to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Integrate third-party services, APIs, payment systems, and external platforms to enhance application capabilities.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL services to facilitate data exchange.
• Implement authentication, authorization, security controls, and data protection measures to ensure application security.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and production defects promptly.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and adhere to coding standards.
• Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and usability.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders throughout the development process.
• Participate in technical planning, architecture discussions, and software design decisions.
• Utilize version control systems such as Git to manage source code effectively.
• Engage in Agile/Scrum development processes, including standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Monitor applications in production, assist with deployments, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Research emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and uphold development standards.
