Compensation: $170,000–$300,000 base + equity

We're partnering with a venture-backed fintech startup that's reimagining how one of the largest industries in the world operates through AI and modern software.

They're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who wants to build, not just maintain.

You'll work across the entire stack, from intuitive user experiences to complex backend systems, while helping shape the technical foundation of a rapidly evolving platform.

What You'll Be Building

• Design, develop, and ship end-to-end product features using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs that power complex financial workflows.
• Develop and maintain GraphQL APIs using Apollo.
• Design and optimize relational data models using PostgreSQL.
• Build integrations with third-party financial services and lending platforms.
• Work on AI-powered features and intelligent automation.
• Improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with engineering leadership to make architectural and product decisions.
• Help establish engineering best practices as the company grows.

The Tech Stack

Frontend: TypeScript, React

Backend: TypeScript, Node.js, Express

APIs: GraphQL, Apollo

Database: PostgreSQL

Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, Terraform

You don't need to have worked with every technology listed, but strong production experience with TypeScript across the stack is essential.

What We're Looking For

• Strong professional software engineering experience, ideally at a senior level.
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Production experience building applications with React and Node.js.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining backend APIs.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
• Experience building scalable, reliable production applications.
• Ability to independently own complex projects from initial design through deployment.
• Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with a distributed team.

Bonus Points

• Experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup.
• Background in fintech, lending, payments, or financial services.
• Experience with GraphQL, Apollo, or complex third-party API integrations.
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience building AI-powered applications or integrating LLMs.
• Experience mentoring engineers or contributing to technical architecture.
