Bespoke development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions across multiple enterprise clients in the financial services, healthcare, mining and energy sectors. The role spans the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and integration design through to deployment and ongoing support with a strong focus on Microsoft-stack solutions including SharePoint, Power Platform, Azure, and .NET.

Responsibilities

Software Development

• Writing, testing, and debugging code for enterprise client solutions across financial services, healthcare, mining and energy sectors. Analyse client requirements, design software architecture, and plan system integrations — including AI-assisted workflows using Azure OpenAI and Power Automate.
• Analyse user needs, map out software architecture, and plan system integrations
• Collaborate with other developers to implement new systems, features and enhance existing systems and applications.
• Design and develop data modules and reports
• Workflow development with system integrations

Testing & Debugging

• Conduct basic unit and integration testing to ensure software functionality.
• Identify and fix bugs.

Code Review & Documentation

• Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews.
• Document software processes, changes, and user guides as required.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with cross-functional teams and directly with client stakeholders across multiple engagements.
• Provide technical support and translate technical concepts for non-technical business users.

Continuous Learning & Improvement

• Stay updated and certified with emerging technologies and best practices

Competencies

Technical Skills

• Strong in C# and TypeScript. Web development with Blazor (MudBlazor), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Deep proficiency across the Microsoft ecosystem: .NET, Azure (Functions, OpenAI/AI Foundry), Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric), and SharePoint (Online and Server Subscription Edition).
• Solid SQL skills and familiarity with SharePoint/PnP scripting (PowerShell, PnP.PowerShell). Version control via Git.

Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12,
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Relevant certifications advantageous, e.g. Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204), Power Platform Developer Associate, or Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate.
• At least 2 to 3 years of software development experience
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies is an advantage.
