About The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic team at Talentify.io, supporting M. J. Electric and its subsidiary companies. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about quality construction and innovative software solutions. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that support our operational needs. Your work will involve gathering end-user requirements, creating build plans, and executing the full software development lifecycle, including coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting.
This position emphasizes the integration of AI-assisted development practices, utilizing tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar to enhance productivity and code quality. You will work closely with the Application Development team to support existing systems, deliver new applications, and modernize legacy tools, ensuring they align with current industry standards and technological advancements. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency, security, and scalability of our software infrastructure.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in programming, with proficiency in languages such as C# and LINQ Queries. Exposure to additional languages and frameworks is a plus. You should have experience with ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, Razor Pages, and front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with UI libraries like Kendo UI or jQuery is advantageous, and experience with React is considered a valuable asset as our team expands its front-end capabilities.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, along with experience using AI coding assistants like Claude or Copilot, will set you apart. Proficiency in IDEs and source code management tools like Git is essential. A solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), software design principles, testing, and code analysis is required. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, the ability to document processes clearly, and a desire for continuous learning to expand their technical expertise. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, MIS, or a related field is preferred, along with 0–2 years of application development experience, though entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, and documentation processes, ensuring output accuracy, security, and compliance with team standards.
Create comprehensive user documentation and provide training to end-users as required. Support and uphold all company policies and procedures, ensuring 100% compliance with SOX regulations. Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, including new AI/ML tools, and incorporate these advancements into development practices to maintain security, efficiency, and competitiveness.
Work closely with team members, providing technical expertise and collaborative problem-solving to resolve issues promptly. Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and continuously seek opportunities for process improvement.
