How Youâll Make An Impact
- Lead and manage large-scale power system consulting bids, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
- Coordinate and oversee the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, ensuring they meet client specifications and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining effective communication and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the bid lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including consulting, engineering, finance, and legal departments, to align bid objectives and strategies.
- Monitor and report on bid progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to enhance service offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
- Bachelorâs degree in electrical engineering, power systems engineering, or a related field; a masterâs degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, dynamic and transient stability, harmonics analysis, and sub-synchronous control interactions.
- 5+ yearsâ experience in bid management within the power systems or energy sector, demonstrating the ability to lead and manage large-scale bids, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Experience in writing and coordinating technical proposals and bids for power system projects, showcasing strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in power systems engineering, along with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
- Willing to travel 10% domestically and internationally.
