Full Stack Engineer

Location: Paris – Hybrid - up to 50% remote

Salary: depending on experience - 50-65K€

The team develops the internal tools used to manage advertising, marketing, supply chain operations, brand performance and e-commerce activity across multiple brands and geographies.

THE ROLE

The company is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help maintain and develop a business-critical web application used by its advertising and marketing teams. You will join an international Technology team of around 6 people, working closely with an experienced engineer who currently leads the development of the application. During your initial onboarding, you will learn the existing architecture, production environment and business domain before gradually taking ownership of features and technical projects.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong technical fundamentals who wants to accelerate their development, work on a live production application and gain increasing responsibility within a high-growth international business.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining features across the Python backend and JavaScript/React frontend
• Understanding an existing multi-module application and building new functionality on top of it
• Translating requirements from advertising, marketing and other business teams into technical solutions
• Taking features from initial scoping through development, testing and production deployment
• Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code
• Participating actively in code reviews and technical discussions
• Identifying opportunities to improve application performance, stability and maintainability
• Investigating production issues and implementing long-term solutions
• Working cross-functionally with business leaders to understand their challenges and drive projects forward
• Using AI development tools as an enabler to increase productivity and deliver more effectively

The applications are primarily internal business tools rather than large-scale consumer platforms. The focus is therefore on solid software design, maintainability, reliability and delivering meaningful improvements for internal users.

YOUR PROFILE

You have a strong foundation in software engineering and are comfortable learning an existing production system before progressively taking greater ownership.

You should bring:

• Professional experience building full-stack or backend-focused web applications
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with JavaScript and a modern frontend framework such as React, Vue or Angular
• A good understanding of distributed systems and multi-module software architectures
• Knowledge of system design and core software engineering principles
• Experience working with relational databases and writing clean, efficient SQL
• An understanding of software development best practices, including DRY principles, testing, version control and code reviews
• Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• The confidence to take initiative, ask questions and drive projects in partnership with business teams
• A Master’s degree or engineering degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline
