About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join Verisk’s Extreme Event Solutions team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable analytic solutions that support critical decision-making processes related to natural disasters and climate risks. Your expertise will contribute to building high-performance applications utilizing our core technology stack, which includes .NET, Angular, and AWS. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in software engineering principles, a passion for innovative problem-solving, and the ability to translate complex requirements into elegant, efficient software solutions. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of educational background and professional experience, including a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred. A minimum of five years of hands-on full-stack development experience in a commercial setting is required. Candidates should demonstrate deep expertise in frontend UI development, backend logic, and system scalability, along with a strong understanding of performance optimization techniques. Proficiency in core technologies such as C#, Angular, PostgreSQL, and Python, or other enterprise languages with similar translatability, is essential. Strong analytical skills, including debugging and code review capabilities, are crucial for success. Additionally, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States, holding citizenship, a Green Card, or qualifying for an H-1B visa transfer.

Responsibilities
- Full-Stack Delivery: Develop and maintain robust backend RESTful services and responsive Angular-based frontends, ensuring clean and maintainable architecture to support scalable solutions.
