Bioz is looking for a motivated junior developer to join our engineering team. This is an entry-level position for someone who wants to build production systems, strengthen their Python and AWS skills, and learn from an experienced technical team.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain backend services, automation tools, and data-processing workflows using Python
• Work with AWS services and cloud-based infrastructure
• Investigate technical problems and implement practical, reliable solutions
• Write clear, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Collaborate with developers, data scientists, and other team members
• Learn new technologies and gradually take ownership of projects and production systems

Requirements

• Good Python programming skills
• Basic understanding of software development principles
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
• A positive, collaborative attitude
• Initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and ask for help when needed
• Good written and spoken English

Nice to Have

Experience or familiarity with any of the following is an advantage but is not required:

• Data processing or web development
• A computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related technical background

Position Details

• This is a full-time, entry-level position
• This is not a student position
• Previous professional development experience is not required

This role includes dedicated onboarding and mentorship from a senior engineer during your first month. After a few months, once you’re comfortable with the systems, you’ll join a supported on-call rotation to help handle production issues as a team.
