Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science in class="bg-amber-100">Computer Science or Software Engineer
  • Proficient knowledge with class="bg-amber-100">Java
  • This position is hybrid, requiring a combination of remote and in-office work. To support collaboration and occasional on-site requirements, preference will be given to candidates who reside within a 50-mile radius of the work location.
  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card Permanent Resident, minimum 3+ years of U.S. residency and Public Trust approval 

Desired Qualifications

  • Desired experience includes: engineering and mathematics class="bg-amber-100">programming background.
  • Geospatial knowledge, aviation industry knowledge, knowledge of class="bg-amber-100">web map services, J2EE, XML/AIXM, CAD programs, Matlab all a plus.
  • Requires the ability to work on existing code within existing designs in a large and diverse class="bg-amber-100">Java application.
  • Requires highly productive consistent independent performance to produce quality solutions to existing software problems or new features.
  • Candidate must have strong class="bg-amber-100">testing skills for class="bg-amber-100">testing independently both before and after changes in order to produce high quality solutions prior to submitting for formal review and class="bg-amber-100">testing.
  • Ability to work in a professional environment, learn and work well with others, and share information is essential.
  • Candidate should have a strong interest in engineering software class="bg-amber-100">programming with a long term employment outlook.
