Role Description The Software Application Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support farm operations and business processes at Rhysing Wall Ventures. In this full-time, on-site role based in Kintampo North Municipal District, the developer will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and implement features that improve efficiency and data visibility. Daily activities include writing clean and maintainable code, managing databases, implementing integrations between systems, and ensuring the usability and performance of web-based interfaces. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, participating in code reviews, documenting technical solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance existing applications. The developer will contribute to planning and estimation, follow established development standards, and help introduce best practices for software quality and security.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in core Software Development and Programming skills, including designing, implementing, and maintaining applications in one or more modern programming languages.
  • Experience working with Databases, including schema design, queries, data modeling, and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and related web technologies to build responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Hands-on experience with Integration, such as connecting APIs, services, or third-party systems to create end-to-end solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
  • Ability to analyze requirements, solve problems independently, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Experience with agricultural, logistics, or operations-focused software solutions is an advantage but not required.
