About The Company
Noir is recruiting on behalf of a technology company that connects people with distinctive travel experiences across more than 60,000 cities in 180 countries. As the business approaches its tenth anniversary, it is developing new products and services designed to make a significant impact on the travel industry. Its work brings together software engineering, international payments and services used by customers and partners around the world.
The company values thoughtful engineering and continuous improvement. Its teams aim to build modular systems, write clean and maintainable code, and keep documentation clear. They also focus on creating effective processes and providing suitable tools so developers can work efficiently and concentrate on improving the product.
About The Role
As a .NET Developer, you will contribute to the development of a new payment solution. The position offers the opportunity to work across multiple areas of the technology stack and take part in building services that support how customers pay and receive payments using locally preferred methods.
Your work may include developing user interfaces, building APIs, integrating with payment processors, and supporting reporting and reconciliation pipelines. These systems help maintain financial data integrity and enable the business to operate effectively. You will collaborate with colleagues across engineering and product teams, contribute to technical discussions, and help deliver reliable software in an Agile environment.
The role is suited to a developer who enjoys solving practical engineering challenges, values collaborative teamwork, and wants to develop their technical skills. The company provides industry-recognised training across its technology stack, including .NET 10, C# 14, .NET Aspire, Azure DevOps, CI/CD and Entity Framework Core 10.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a strong understanding of object-oriented development principles and practical knowledge of .NET, .NET Core and C#. Experience with AzureSQL is also sought. Familiarity with LINQ, the DRY principle, MongoDB, HTML and CSS is valuable. Experience working in an Agile team, contributing to CI/CD practices, or integrating with APIs and external payment providers may be beneficial.
We welcome applicants with relevant professional experience who are motivated to build high-quality software and learn. Applicants must be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK. Remote working is available for eligible candidates.
Responsibilities
Develop, test and maintain software for payment-related products and services. Contribute to front-end experiences, backend APIs, processor integrations, and reporting or reconciliation workflows. Apply sound design principles to create clear, modular and maintainable code. Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to understand requirements, discuss solutions and deliver work iteratively. Participate in code reviews, support documentation, and help improve development processes and tools. Continue building expertise through training and practical experience with the company’s technology stack.
Benefits
The package includes a salary of £45,000–£85,000, a bonus that is typically 20%, company shares, and an 11% pension. Other benefits include private medical healthcare with a family plan, 27 days of holiday, and a quarterly employee travel coupon. Employees can also spend four hours each month supporting community initiatives. The company offers a structured career progression programme, and developers may have opportunities for early progression based on performance and business requirements. Further benefits may also be available.
Equal Opportunity
Noir and its client value the contribution of people with different backgrounds, perspectives and experiences. Applicants will be considered fairly and on the basis of their relevant skills, experience and potential. If you are interested in contributing to a collaborative engineering team and developing products for an international audience, we encourage you to apply.
