Role Description

As a Software Engineer at Remolity, you will design, develop, test, and maintain backend and full-stack features that power our remote job platform. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate user needs into scalable, reliable services and APIs. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code; reviewing peers’ code for quality and security; troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems; and participating in technical discussions to improve architecture and development practices. You will also help integrate third-party services, maintain documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of our CI/CD and monitoring tools. This is a full-time remote role, with flexibility to work from any location while engaging with a distributed team.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Hands-on experience with Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and server-side frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their practical application in production systems.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), testing practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team, with clear communication and self-management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is beneficial but not required.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and interest in remote work products or marketplaces is a plus.
