Role Description
A Full-Stack / Backend Engineer – SaaS Development is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable SaaS applications and software solutions. The role focuses on building reliable backend services, APIs, databases, integrations, and user-facing features while working closely with product and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable SaaS applications and software solutions.
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, databases, and system integrations.
- Build and maintain front-end features and user-facing functionality when required.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver software solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well-documented code.
- Integrate third-party services, APIs, and external platforms into SaaS applications.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, resolve bugs, and support production systems.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and technical documentation.
- Contribute to SaaS product improvements, new features, and ongoing development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in full-stack or backend software development, preferably within SaaS environments.
- Strong programming skills in technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Good knowledge of REST APIs, databases, Git, and modern software development tools.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SaaS platforms, cloud technologies, microservices, or distributed systems is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage project deadlines, and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
