We're working with a genuinely fast-growing, family-owned, direct-to-consumer brand, Australian-made, expanding Internationally. They are looking to bring onboard a a Full-Stack Software Engineer role that's really a Forward Deployed Engineer in disguise.

You won't just be writing code in a corner. You'll be embedded across the business, part builder, part translator and also spotting where AI can genuinely change how a team works, then building it and helping them actually use it.

This is a junior-to-mid role and it would be ideal if you have 3 to 5 years' experience & are genuinely looking for a real career opportunity!

What the week actually looks like:

• Shipping features across e-commerce storefronts
• Building internal dashboards that the Business Operations Teams actually use so they can move away from spreadsheets
• Backend services and integrations connecting e-commerce, ERP, warehouse and marketing platforms
• Data pipelines turning raw information into insights the business can trust
• Automating manual processes with real, measurable impact
• Working daily with AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot as genuine collaborators, not side experiments
• Championing AI adoption across the business & spotting opportunities, prototyping, helping non-technical teams get on board

This is a small, sharp technology team that punches well above its weight, and your work won't sit in a backlog. What you build on Monday can be informing a business decision by Tuesday.

What you'll bring:

• 3–5 years across full-stack or product engineering, solid in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Front-end confidence eg React or equivalent
• Backend solidity : Python services, REST/GraphQL APIs, comfortable integrating platforms without hand-holding
• SQL and data-warehouse experience (BigQuery, Snowflake or Redshift)
• Practical, daily use of AI development tools eg Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, Codex or similar
• Cloud familiarity eg GCP, AWS or Azure
• A natural instinct to look beyond your own codebase. You're that person that can spot a problem in another team and think, "I could fix that"
• Bonus points:
• Experience with enterprise e-commerce platforms eg themes, apps, or admin APIs
• Familiarity with dbt or similar data transformation tools
• Exposure to workflow automation (n8n, Airflow)
• BI/dashboarding experience (Superset, Looker, Metabase)
• Interest in AI agents like MCP integrations, agentic workflow design
