About the Opportunity:

The SOFTWARE ENGINEER III, WEBAPP is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining full stack web application features, including scalable microservices. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the performance, reliability, and operational health of the core web application stack, directly impacting the organization's ability to serve high-throughput traffic. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to uphold engineering standards and improve infrastructure components.


Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain full stack web application features and scalable microservices
  • Lead technical design and manage deployment of complex features
  • Enhance core web application stack for performance and accuracy
  • Participate in on-call rotations and troubleshoot production incidents
  • Collaborate with product, infrastructure, design, and API teams
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines, container-based software distribution, and observability


Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of software development experience
  • Experience with highly available, scalable web applications
  • Proficiency in languages and frameworks for full-stack distributed systems (e.g., React, Python, Go, Kafka, SQL, NoSQL)
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming, and design patterns
  • Experience with AI-assisted development workflows
  • Effective communication skills across multiple organizational stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • BSc in a STEM field, preferably computer science or software engineering

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

  • Base pay range from $133,000 to $181,000 annually, typically anchored at $157,000
  • Compensation varies by location and factors such as experience, skills, and market value
  • Total compensation includes equity and benefits
